The US Export Controls Seminar is a three-day, hands-on workshop designed for all levels of expertise on export control issues. This will be the only BIS seminar offered in the Midwest in 2014 and the first time in years that the multi-day seminar has been held in Michigan. Therefore this may be your only opportunity to learn about the regulations themselves, and to get up to speed on the most significant changes the regulations have undergone in over 20 years (the Export Control Reform Initiative), directly from BIS regulatory experts. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!

There will be Q&A opportunities and opportunities at breaks for attendees to ask the government presenters their specific corporate questions dealing with their specific problems.
An official USDOC/BIS "Certificate of Training" will be issued upon completion of program.

Approved Learning Credits:
MCLE Credit
This event has been approved for continuing legal education credit (MCLE) by the State of Ohio for 10.5 CLE hrs for the first two days, and 16.25 CLE hrs for the entire event.
NCBFAA Credit
This course has been approved by The National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA) for 13 CES Credits for the 2 day Complying with US Export Control Seminar and 6.5 CES credit for the 1 day US Export Control Reforms Seminar respectively

Registration fee includes breakfast and lunch for each day, and all training materials. All registrations that are paying by check must be received by May 6th, 2014. No refunds will be issued after May 6th, 2014. Online Registration will continue until Friday May 9th, 2014. Discounts for group registrations are available. A limited number of on-site parking spots are available for purchase during the registration process ($15 for those attending all three days). These parking spots are at the Gem Theatre garage at 1901 Brush Street. Those that purchase parking will be emailed vouchers to present to the attendant at the garage. For other attendees, a number of parking lots are available within one block radius of the venue.
