The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has released the following three factsheets on the trade agreement reached between US and Mexico:
The first document provides information on the new rules of origin and origin procedures; updates to the Market Access chapter to address non-tariff barriers related to trade in remanufactured goods, import licensing, and export licensing; and new provisions on textiles. The second document provides updates on intellectual property protections; information about a new chapter on digital trade; updates for the financial services industry; and new labor provisions. Finally, the third factsheet focuses on the impact of the new agreement on the agricultural sector.
