On December 1st, 2015, and in keeping with its mission of building economic bridges, the American Arab Chamber of Commerce (AACC) hosted the 2015 Doing Business in Algeria Conference featuring the largest Algerian delegation to visit the United States. The conference was organized with the US- Algerian Business Council, Embassy of Algeria in Washington D.C., the United States Embassy in Algeria and the Forum des Chefs d’Entreprises. The conference attracted government officials and business leaders from the United States and Algeria.

“The Doing Business in Algeria conference mission was to showcase Algerian products and services in demand to U.S. buyers and give American companies access to Algerian executives seeking to purchase U.S. goods and services.” said Fay Beydoun, executive director, American Arab Chamber of Commerce. “Algeria is virtually an untapped market for U.S. Businesses, and the event provided private one on one meeting opportunities for southeast Michigan business owners who wanted to explore potential partnerships and grow their business,” said Beydoun.
